About the Role
- Develop and monitor performance metrics for Digital Finance products
- Additional support to ad-hoc POC, projects within the Digital Finance Hub
- Works closely with broader Digital Finance team to define data requirements for next generation AI/ML tools to further improve decision-making and efficiencies
- Identifies areas of inefficiencies in the application of AI/ML/digital and implements improvements towards a highly efficient, “industrialized” approach in planning and forecasting
- Continually improve and streamline existing management reporting processes and support the definition and implementation of lean processes to meet the changing demands of the business.
- Co-develops vision and supports prioritization of new AI-decision-making tools in close alignment with the BPA/Finance function
- Owns selected AI/ML products and heads their design, development and implementation by orchestrating the right resources across data science and visualization experts. Ensures successful roll-out and adoption across IM.
- Connects newly designed solutions and processes with operational links and leverages her/his operations acumen to pragmatically implement in the NVS environment
- Liaises with other digital/AI initiatives (e.g. commercial, other Novartis units), identifies potential overlaps/ synergies, and co-creates holistic digitalization roadmap Co-shapes future organization of BPA/ Finance function to realize systemic evolution
- Identifies proactively industry benchmarks that trigger/sparkle change initiatives. Proposes innovative approaches to operations and owns their realization from presentation to top management to execution and delivery of results
Minimum requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration or similar diploma, recognized financial qualification.
- 3-4 years Blue chip financial experience healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of interacting with senior leadership.
- English is a must
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modelling, statistical analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) and advanced Excel skills including data transformation tools such as Power Query and Power Pivot.
